is Hosting the 130th Annual Open HRYRA Regatta

The Hudson River Women's Challeng Cup

is being hosted by Shattemuc Yacht Club

Fleets are planned for:

 - All women crew; spinnaker and non-spinnaker

 - Woman skipper, mixed crew; spinnaker and non-spinn

 - (A fleet must have three boats registered to be counted. Fleets may be combined at the discretion of the race committee.)

Nyack Boat Club is Hosting the Half Moon Junior Regatta

on Saturday, August 2, 2014 for

420's, Opti's and Lasers

The 420 with spinnaker division will be the final Regatta which counts towards the HRYRA Junior Championships!!  Awards will be presented at Nyack Boat Club.  (Note: The Series started in the Joe Naar Regatta which took place on July 19th).

2014 HRYRA Lasers and Sunfish Regatta at

Shattemuc Yacht Club is hosting the Joe Naar Regatta

on Saturday, July 19th 2014

This regatta is open to any one-design dinghy sailed by teams of any age. In addition, the Club 420 class will count toward the HRYRA Junior Championship and the top three 420 teams will qualify to represent HRYRA at the SUNY Maritime Junior Challenge Regatta in early August.

2014 Junior Sailing Regatta Scheduling and Announcements:

·         The first HRYRA Junior event of the year is July 5th and 6th at Nyack Boat Club --the Guy Moulton regatta. NBC was gracious enough to invite HRYRA juniors to participate for a second straight year. Please see the attached (#1) for more information.

·         Also, the Moulton will serve as the 'non-binding' qualifier for the Area B semi-finals for the US Sailing Junior Championships on July 11th in Mystic, CT. For more information, see the attached informational flyer(#2) and the attached NOR (#3).

·         HRYRA will be introducing the HRYRA Junior Championship series this year. It will be a series with scores counting from the Guy Moulton, Joe Naar, and Half Moon. More info attached (#4).

·         Finally, there are a number of events that may be of interest to HRYRA juniors. Please see the attached Junior Schedule for more details (#5).
